If it's not reused, recycled or repurposed, it's responsibly sourced.

Sustainability

We strive to make sure everything we do is as ethical as possible, from partnering with ethical businesses to sourcing biodegradable materials. Because what's the point in upcycling if we don't carry that through?

Garments

We exclusively upcycle second hand garments made from high quality wools. We use 100% cotton labels, and our tags are printed on recycled paper.

Wool and Animal Welfare

All our wool is approved by the British Wool Board, who ensure that our wool sources meet high standards of animal welfare. By supporting British farmers, we reduce distribution pollution and support UK enterprises.

We use Shetland wool, sourced from farms adhering to the Welfare of Farmed Animals (Scotland) Regulations of 2010, which guarantees the well-being of the animals involved. Find out more about British Wool’s animal welfare pledge.

Wool is a natural and biodegradable material with excellent insulation and water-resistant properties. In our felting processes, we refuse to use synthetic alternatives that aren't biodegradable. At the end of it's life, we know the garment and design will biodegrade together, not just take up space in landfill.

As a natural material, wool products can be susceptible to moths. To learn more about caring for your wool product, head to our Cleaning and Care page.

Prints and Postcards

All printed goods are sourced through www.print.work, a Leeds-based independent business who print with eco friendly inks onto 100% recycled, FCS certified paper. They are protected by biodegradable cellophane and posted in recyclable packaging.

Packaging

Your order is packaged in biodegradable, recycled or recyclable materials, making sure we are minimising our environmental impact at every step.

If you see plastic tape or bubble wrap, don't worry - we repurpose second hand materials as much as possible, so looking a bit scruffy is the price for an eco-friendly parcel.
